March 1st to 3rd, 6th General Assembly of CarE-Service organized virtually

Through three days of the General Assembly in March 2021, CarE-Service Team had this opportunity to organize the final General Assembly meeting of the project to set the ultimate targets and goals for the remaining months till November 2021. Like the last GA the CarE-Service project consortium partners didn’t have this possibility to physically meet due to the pandemic situation all over the countries. However, besides all these criticalities imposed and challenges that the CarE-Service team faced we would like to share the final achievements and milestones of the project that picture the final activities and contributions of the team:

  • The key contents discussed during these days were mainly related to the final demonstrators of the project regarding the battery recovery from disassembly to remanufacturing and recycling, metal reforming, techno-polymers recycling, Smart Movable Modules disassembly and testing supports and the ICT Platform integration and the new sharing electric mobility services in order to collaboratively plan What, How and When they will be demonstrated.
  • For these demonstrators, the Economic and Environment Assessments are under evaluation in order to examine the profitability of remanufactured, recycled parts and also to measure the environmental impacts of such products and processes.
  • Planning dedicated events/webinars for training the industries regarding the knowledge and experiences gained through the battery, metal and Techno-polymer value chains, Smart Movable Modules supports with ICT Platform integration technologies into all these value chains as the facilitator for trading the certified remanufactured and recycled parts as well as the new sharing mobility services with the circular fleet management. These events are scheduling with collaboration among the partners and the communication teams in order to contact the targeted industries for such events.
  • And lastly, final Exploitation events for each demonstration with various tasks of the project have been planned for these final momentums.

The CarE-Service GA meetings were always the best opportunity for all the partners to share their contributions and experiences in which will lead the project to the fruitful finalization that plays an important role in the EoL E&HEVs evolution value chains currently and in the future.
