The 4th CarE-Service General Assembly where almost half of this delightful Journey passed over!

Last 28th-30th October in Madrid, Spain, took place the 4th General Assembly of CarE-Service Project. The meeting was held in Residencia de Estudiantes (http://www.residencia.csic.es/en/pres/presenta.htm).

The Residencia de Estudiantes was founded in Madrid in 1910. It became the first cultural center of Spain and until 1936 the Residencia remained a vibrant, fruitful hub for scientific and artistic work and exchange in Europe. Writers and artists such as Miguel de Unamuno, Alfonso Reyes, Manuel de Falla, Juan Ramón Jiménez, José Ortega y Gasset, Pedro Salinas, Blas Cabrera, Eugenio d´Ors and Rafael Alberti were frequent visitors and lodged at the Residencia during their stay in Madrid. The Residencia de Estudiantes is located in Headquarters of Spanish National Research Council (CSIC)  (https://www.csic.es/en), one of the partners of CarE-Service Consortium.

During three days of the fruitful meetings, partners discussed about their current tasks. The first day almost passed to discuss our contribution on dissemination and communication actions, business models and side-effects, risk management with collaboratively designed workshops.

The second and last day meeting our general focuses were on ICT Platform, Smart Mobile Modules (SMMs), the future tasks on Development, testing and validation of three value chain (Battery, Metal and Techno-polymer) parts re-use and remanufacturing solutions. Therefore, more communication and discussion on exploitation plan and intellectual property rights plan (IPR), and lastly about legislation and standardization.

The productive and collaborative discussion gave partners an excellent opportunity to pool efforts and continue in the right path to achieve the results of the project. So we are all enjoyed and looking forward to the next General Meeting of the project for better and concrete demonstrated results of the project!
